Do you work for/with Facebook or Digital Globe (because you sound as if
you know details about the process) or are you taking this from the
information that has been released?

process discussed here or are you guessing?

Can you explain this a bit more, perhaps pointing to a specific example
and explaining how an experienced OSM mapper would have done it "WAY worse"?

I think you're getting carried away here. Even if Christoph were an
inexperienced newcomer - which he isn't and you know that - he would,
like any other community member, still be entitled to ask questions.
