yes, these tags can prevent cautious users from editing things because they
don't know what to do with them. I also never know what to do with
ref:proprietaryid=123 when I modify something with this tag, because I do
not know to what it refers and what it describes. Is it for the building?
The business? Must I modify it, remove it or keep it? If I split a way,
should I keep it on all pieces? If I combine 2 ways, will the foreign ref
still apply to the combined object? Maybe I shouldn't split or combine the
objects because of the foreign key?
