thank you for helping, most of cities and towns are already in OSM and we will update them and review its tags:
name
name:ar
name:en
place
population:date
population
source:population
and we will add more villages and hamlets and locality places to OSM.

I'll review existing data and download all nodes with place from server by Overpass API to make sure that there is no duplication of points and I'll review once again before uploading by downloading the full map from geofabrik and matching with it before any upload.

and the upload will be by (region / province) not too fast will reveiw all data and add to it from our knowledge.

and I'll use my username:abdullah abdulrhman to upload and maybe will add more later

and what about these sources from ArcGIS can i use them:
https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=6d287c207cd54c1794efb8e1355d3acb
and
https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=302827dcda394fcda0994174eccb41cd
and
https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=be2c717898ba4fb1ab7f5a7660355a32

and also here in Saudi Arabia, we use free and open maps drawn by desert explorers that work on Garmin devices and among those maps, Mashari map of the Middle East is published in forums and here is a link to it:
http://www.ce4arab.com/vb7/showthread.php?t=394307
is its acceptable source, if this map an acceptable source, it would add many locations in the map of the Saudi Arabia and it will help to easy to edit all data from multiple users.

Thank you, and accept our regards

Abdullah,
Please review the Import Guidelines [1] to help you attain your goal. The process is pretty simple. Just verify that the data can be imported into OSM with no licensing restrictions, that it is suitable for import into OSM and how you plan to do the import. The first requirement is to ensure that the source license doesn't preclude importing into OSM. I've run across sources that look good on the surface but hidden in the fine print are obstacles to importing. The data you describe seems very suitable for import. The last piece, how you are going to import the data is for you to describe your process. For example how you are going to deal with existing data or how is the source data converted into data that has appropriate OSM tags. It also includes what user names will be used for import. Note, a unique user name is required for imports.

This sounds like a lot of work but going through the process will actually help you with the import.

Let us know if you have any questions or need help.
