I expect that there are many people active primarily on weekends and treating
it as a low intensity hobby.

Many people may have 4 busy days at work (or entire week) especially 
in the current situation.

Just because you can ask something about OSM and I will jump out of roadside
bushes to explain my position on that, does not make it normal or typical.
It is a good idea to give people time to respond, except critically urgent cases
that cannot wait for really, really good reasons.
