Well if at least one contribution has been made that is GPLv2 while
the others are GPLv2 "or higher", then I believe according to GPL
rules the whole is "GPL2 only", is it not?

I don't really care and I have no idea if whoever put anything about
GPL in the code did so on purpose or just becaue he felt it was the
normal thing to do but in absence of any more details I guess we have
to assume that whoever put "GPLv2" meant "GPLv2 and nothing else".

If there ever is a full re-implementation I'll make it PD but until
then we have to live with what's there.
