Yes, that would be the obvious next step, if this "feature" is generally
accepted. It's in the Windows installer just because I know how to do it
here. BTW: Jörg Ostertag did something very similiar for the debian package.

Yes, simply because if you do a large area it takes *very* long to
download and display, so newbies might think it's broken and Cancel the
download before it's done. All in all, these are just some examples.

Not only that, as already mentioned you'll first have to understand what
these bookmarks are all about.
