hm... yes, of course. You tell the Java VM how many memory to use. The
.plist just holds the information on how to start the Java application.

I also figured out this disadvantage with the version number in my .app.

I tested mine only on my, now 3 years old, Powerbook with Mac OS 10.4.11.
I have no trouble with multiple launches or strange effects concerning the
dock. Anyways, it's nice to know that there's another version available ;)
