Also see the original ticket:

"There is one slightly larger TODO: Someone should check if the 
shortcuts are distributed nicely initially on Linux (or any other 
non-win, non-osx platform). I'd be not a blocker, but if there was a 
problem, Linux user would have to manually reconfigure the "bad" keys."
