I agree with Dirk here. Imagine you have to write a documentation for 
your plugin: "... press Ctrl-O (or Alt-O or Shift-O or Meta-O depending 
on your platform and what other plugins you have loaded)...". That 
really can't be it, and neither can we be bothered to create extra 
documentation for each platform.

I'm all for making OSX users happy but if this leads to JOSM becoming 
less usable for the others then please let's throw out OSX support again 
and have someone, somewhere make a special OSX build every now and then.
