[josm-dev] Joining the map plugins

Hello,

I (helper with slippymap) suggested a time ago to use geotools library for
reading data from net/disc and to render it also through geotools. In that
library is imho all what josm needs, but I think it is not mergable into
current architecture. So this solution is blind alley.

For same nterface for configuring I see this possibility. One of plugin will
make his preferences panel and others will use it in his plugins. After doing
so, preferences of all this "map plugins" wil look similar and will be more
user friendly (familiar).

About merging two plugins into one is imho no problem. Just to compile them
into one jar. It could be called "one+second_plugin". If some user wants both
plugins, he could download just that one (merged) plugin.

What do you think about last solution?

Have a nice day.

Odborník na všetko je zlý odborník. Ja sa snažím byť výnimkou potvrdzujúcou
pravidlo.
