Perhaps because it's not actually the name of the street?

This street:

has a name in Finnish (which is what everyone uses), and also one in 
Swedish (Finland is "legally bilingual" to an extent).  It doesn't have 
an English name (although when staying there it helped me to understand 
that it meant "South Railway Street"), or a Japanese one, or anything 
else.  It makes no sense to store names that (a) aren't the name of the 
place and (b) no-one uses outside of translations from another language, 
like has happened here:

It's just database pollution.
