I don’t understand your reasoning. It *is* the name, only in a different
writing system.

If you have Vladimir Putin, “Vladimir Putin” is still his name, even
though nobody in Russia would write him like that. Or what else should
it be?

Then why should you write “Munich” or “Rome” or “Tokyo”? You would need
to delete everything like this.

a) It is the name of the place.
b) Why does nobody use it? Of course it is being used. If I use OSM to
see the map of Cairo, I cannot read Arabic letters. So I would like to
have it in Roman letters. The other way around, if an Arabic person is
in Finland, he would want to read the names in Arabic script.

I really don’t understand how one can even think of *not* to include
these names in the name tag.
