[Learnosm-coord] Prioritizing Issues on Learnosm?

Thanks a good tool to use Jessica. For OSMTM, the Tech WG have held "triage" sessions, scheduled at a particular time, with live voice chat on Mumble, while we worked through categorizing the issues. I think we also did this for the Exports tool. The same process could work well for LearnOSM, just need to set up a time. * Mikel Maron * +14152835207 @mikel s:mikelmaron

 Howdy Coordinators!

This is Jessica Canepa, HOT intern through FOSS OPW.  I talked to Kate about how we could improve communication on the priorities of the learnosm issues site and she suggested setting up a visual organizer with waffle.io like the one HOT uses for the osm-tasking-manager2 at the link below.

https://waffle.io/hotosm/osm-tasking-manager2

I set up one for the learnosm site repo on Github:
https://waffle.io/hotosm/learnosm

Do you think this could be useful? What should the columns be labeled? We could make it like the OSMTaskingManager2 with low, medium, and high priorities? Of we could simply use the default "Ready", "In Progress", and "Completed" columns? We could also customize the columns to something else more useful (ex: add a translation column).

Right now, anyone can drag and drop issues from the backlog column to the other columns to organize them.  We have a couple options for sorting/organizing issues:
1) Setup general guidelines so anyone can sort them
2) Designate certain people to sort the issues
3) Automatically sort issues according to labels assigned in Github
Any feedback welcome! I'd just like to make it easier for contributors to figure out what the learnosm site's greatest priorities are to work on.

Best Regards,

Jessica M. Canepa
