Yes, I agree we are short on sysadmins and developers, particularly the
former. I just logged on to the dev server and actually the usage seems
quite light (or am I reading things incorrectly? I used "top"). There
may be an overall lack of hardware, but I guess we should ask what the
finances are like from the treasurer or someone in the know. I think our
discussions with the OSMF board have not reached that stage. I would
think it reasonable if OSMF conditionally agrees to alternative license
databases at this stage, depending on availability of resources. I
expect rather less of course, but I like unexpected pleasant surprises.
