Provide a URL link to a license page with attribution info there. As 
long as you
don't credit anyone else on the actual map, this may be OK. IANAL, TINLA.

I have a CD with "write to this address for credits" note on the case. This
might be just about reasonable.

This is a real non-problem though. If a way can be found of cramming 500 names
onto a map, this will be reasonable and so there is no problem. If it cannot
then it is not and so there still is not. ;-)
