You're right, one day is probably not a lot of time to wait for a  
response. However, to be more on-topic on dev, let me focus on the  
last sentence in my post which unfortunately was off-topic on legal,

- is there a way to put a standard Google API box on a wiki page, or  
will the wiki blank out the Javascript required? If it does - are  
there WMS servers that serve copyrighted but free-of-charge satellite  
imagery through a simple image link which specifies the bounding box  
and width/height?
