I think however a useful convention when discussing the license would
be to find the right part of it, and quote it - mainly to ensure that
discussions are grounded in reality, but also since it encourages
correspondents to repeatedly re-read the draft!

So Section 3.1 states:

"3.1 Subject to the terms and conditions of this Licence, Licensor
grants to You a
worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, licence to Use the Database [...]"

...with the emphasis on "non-exclusive". This allows you to relicense
your original data multiple times under any license, which is what the
original scenario required.
