[Mailman] creating a map

I see the mailing lists, and it is just to much to get an overview.

I have just one question:

We have several events at several places. There was a functionality in 
google maps to create a map which shows all the events. I heard taht 
there is a similar tool in OSM.

It would be nice if it would be possible to create such a map automatically:

The events and the place are in a array of array in php class. It would 
be nice if it would be possible to walk through the table creating a 
little flag for each event and to place the OSM result on the web page - 
embedding would be nice, but linking is enough.

Perhaps you know some experts who can help me.
