I modified the wiki page as you suggested.

At first, I'll start "using" Merkaartor, before my memory about the
collected tracks vanishes... :)

Since I'm new, I've got a lot to learn about OSM in general, but will
continue to add stuff to the wiki once I'm settled.

Thanks to all who helped me contributing to OSM without any
proprietary blobs on my laptop! Keep up the good work!
