No, unfortunately there are 2 separate logins for the WWW-Page/API
(which JOSM uses) on one hand and the WIKI on the other.

You need to use the e-mail-address and password you use when you
registered on http://www.openstreetmap.org/index.html in JOSM.

Yes this is confusing, yes you're not the first one to run into this
problem.
