you can shift-alt select, then you even select multiple things (you add
one segment by each klick), just make sure you haven't selected anything
beforehand (ctrl-shift-a)
You can also use the Area selection tool then use the selection list to
only select segments
you can search for the tags in the search and then use the selection
list to only select segments
...

The selection list can be toggled with alt-e
