[OSM-newbies] Other uses for OSM

I think maybe I did not make myself clear.

The system would be autonomous. Data entry only available to those who record the data for the county and some form of Slippy map available to the public.

If the database and data entry are private, there should be little worry about vandalism, unless it is conducted by a worker. In that case, I think relieving them of their employment and possible criminal charges would be in order.

I would have no interest in keeping the data on the Public OSM server, because that data would be of no real use to the community.
