[OSM-newbies] delete a segment from a way

When you use the "delete" tool on a way, first the way is destroyed, *then* 
the segment gets deleted.

In order to remove a segment from a way, select the way, then press "w" 
(select the "create ways" tool), then click on the segment you want to 
remove.

That will remove that segment *from* the way, without deleting the way itself. 
Then you can safely delete the extra segment.
