[OSM-newbies] merging GPX files

Hi Francis,

I find the version of GPS Babel I have on my Mac is pretty intuitive.
Could you make a note of some of the problems you're having.  Its
great to be able to give feedback to the GPS babel developers, and
there could be something odd thats going on with the version you have.
