[OSM-newbies] start Dhaka

Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie and I've started to map Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh).  I've
uploaded my OSM data  file last sunday (23rd Sept.) from JOSM.  However, I
still don't see anything  on openstreetmap or on
http://www.informationfreeway.org/.  Any idea?

Also my OSM file start to get quite big, is it any way to break it down. 
I was considering to break it down in different area.  I know I should
just download the data from openmap, but as there is nothing showed yet,
what should I do?

Last, there are so many emabssies in my area, any tags for this?
