Hi,

maybe

> gpsbabel -t -i garmin -f /dev/ttyUSB0 -o gpx -F track1.gpx
   gpsbabel -t -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F track1.gpx 

will work. If not, first try as root
rmmod garmin_gps
before continuing.
