[OSM-newbies] first time editing with JOSM!

Hi everyone!It's my first time doing editing and I'm using JOSM on MAC and
or Windows. Managed to open my gpx files (grey dots, yeah), download data
from OSM and import my pics so far.
On the GPS device I used to track (someone lend it to me) I also took
"waypoints" at certain points together with pictures and the default "one
per second" points, but now can't find them... are they in a different file?
I have .csv, .gpx, .klm and .nma version for my row data..
