[OSM-newbies] soft shores?

Yesterday I made the tracks, bridges and the little river.
Today it is rendered, but my edits don't fit.

The renderer seems to add soft lines to waterways.
This one has no soft shores. It is edgy underneath the bridges and consists of straightly lined segments.

Is there a trick to fix it?
