[OSM-newbies] copy and paste motorway

Hi David,
Thank you for the pointer. But I have another stupid question. How do I
paste the copied line next to the original line. I am using JOSM. The
command window indicates a paste occurred but I have no idea where it is in
the main window. I've selected the node I would like the copied line to
connect to but that doesn't seem to do anything.
