In parts of the country that have Yahoo! imagery, there tends to be
quite good coverage of pylons. For example, see
http://osm.org/go/euo0TmZx-
Unfortunately, the place where these would be most useful (the
countryside) is exactly where the Yahoo! coverage is worst.
