[OSM-newbies] ghost ? lines between raw .gpx in JOSM

Dear all,

When I check the raw GPS checkbox for the download of server data in JOSM I
assume I am getting all GPS tracks that are uploaded for the requested area.
I see my own tracks as well as these of others.
What I notice lately that there are (it seems random) lines connecting the
various GPS tracks. These are criss cross over the whole area. This must be
a bug isn't it? Or can we do something to our tracks to prevent this?

Please advise

(I am using version 1344 with Windows XP)
