[OSM-newbies] Any way to not dispaly name/ref on a road?

Hi,

When tagging/naming small roads and/or bridges, tunnels etc.. I feel that
there somtimes are excessive referrence numbers, and/or naming of roads.

I don't want to remove tags/names from roads...

Also, how to tag bridge/tunnel names if the road name is different?
