[OSM-newbies] Tunisia: converting highway=unclassified to highway=road for sketches from aerial imagery

Hi Joe,

highway=road definitely renders thicker than highway=unclassified.
This value is considered work-todo, which is nearly an error. It is meant to make someone who has the needed knowledge create meaningful tags.
Don't tag for the renderer, though.

If you are sure that the way is unpaved, mark it as surface=unpaved.
Don't tag something that isn't there. Interpretation of data is the user's job.

In Tunisia unpaved should be the default, IMO, at least outside of the bigger cities. In this case, the surface is unclear. Even in Tunis lots of roads are unpaved (or were when I was last there). In the tourist centers, the situation can be completely different.

happy mapping
