[OSM-newbies] Difficulty in viewing OSM map - Where I'm up to (sadly)

Two of us had recommended the TRACERT command as a better ping. Please
report results.

not hard  at all -
* download an ubuntu or knoppix  iso image and burn it
   or get a disk off a magazine or mate
* stick it in
* reboot
* browse to osm.org (click on the blueish world icon, type osm.org, enter)
* (optional) click corner menu to reboot and eject to return to windows
