Unclear on what you are trying to do/not do here. Waypoints that are not
physical objects should not be uploaded to OSM, stick to mapping the
physical landscape and you can't go wrong. Nodes that form part of a way
that contain additional information are however valid. For example where you
have some node with ele=443.530518 is fine. However you should delete the
other non relevant data that's also there such as wpt_description and
wpt_symbol because these have nothing to do with the point on the ground,
just your reference.
