[OSM-newbies] Interpolating a point

Dictionary wise, you're correct. I had a total of 8 points with bearings,
but no distance vectors, so I was actually trying to solve an inverted
resection (intersection) problem.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resection_(orientation)
Either way, I ended up using FizzyCalc
<http://www.fizzymagic.net/Geocaching/FizzyCalc/>to project the first 5
point/bearings by 20 miles and then plotted the intersect points in JOSM.
If someone does feel like coding up an intersection/resection surveying
plugin for JOSM, it looks like many of the calculations involve Vicenty's
Formula <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincenty%27s_formulae>.
