Randy,
You can see JOSMs memory usage by clicking Help -> Show Status Report.
There's output there showing current and available memory usage.
I downloaded the area near I-20 and S Hulen Street (there's a mall there)
and can see Yahoo imagery just fine. The images I see are watermarked Yahoo
I-cubed 2008. I cannot get OpenAerialMap imagery.
What does the JOSM terminal window output when you're getting the white
tiles?
