It’s certainly a pretty map, though I think it overemphasizes the roads.
It feels like it’s primarily showing how to drive to access the path,
with the path itself being secondary. Not that that’s necessarily a bad
thing, depending on the purpose of the map.
IMO the map I linked is not very good in a lot of ways – water
overemphasized, hideous hard-to-see shade of green for the bike routes,
awful choices for some things (e.g. “pets and easier biking” is not the
same in the key as it is on the map, and doesn’t look good anyway). But
it does illustrate the de-emphasis of highways rather nicely.
