[OSM-newbies] Fence in middle of street

That seems to be a item for discussion.
Look at the mapfeatures page and you will find this:
'When a linear barrier crosses a way they share a node. Always tag this node with the proper node barrier tag.'
Yet, there is no approved barrier=fence node-style tag.
A hole in the definition, if you ask me.
