Usually you should add a hint when the road continues and you have drawn 
only parts of it. (fixme=stub:incomplete or similar)

On the other hand it does not hurt to put noexit=yes on the last node of 
a dead end. This indicates, that you cannot get through by any means 
(not even on foot).

However, in a residential area, there is no need to tag every small 
driveway in this way. The fact, that the way does not continue, already 
implies the dead end.
