Does this help?  Maybe not 'as-is', but as the basis for some other extraction 
method.

I wrote it.  It was a quick hack but served my purpose.  I had some help from 
people on this mailing list and I'd be happy to discuss or explain it 
further.  I am sure that others will be equally as helpful.
