You might be expecting to do more than required. If you have drawn
the building outline, and tagged it as a building then you are done.
In the advanced view you have a tag building=yes to designate a
generic building. It could be anything; a home, a hospital, a
hovercraft store.
You may then consider adding more information, like address details,
or further tags for Points of Interest. But for a home, building=yes
and address tags are all that are needed.
