Hi Shabnam
I have no idea why mapsource is not working for your eTrex, but have you tried
other software?  I use GPS Trackmaker (the free version) from
http://www.gpstm.com .  That will collect tracks, waypoints and routes from the
gps.  Another option, but only for tracks, is to use the gps in mass storage
mode (Setup menu - Interface) and copy and paste the .gpx file for each day to
your My Documents.
