If everyone on the list could "sign up" for membership using the page in
test mode, I can then start giving you permissions to manage the
membership DB. Equally, you should report any problems in the process
(rather than unclear copy) to the list so we can fix them.

As far as I can tell, we could do this today without *losing* anything,
since the money would still end up in OSMF's coffers, and we'd capture
at least an email address. If it works how we'd like it to, we'd then be
able to:

> - once tested / confirmed, get data into civi and launch

We'd need whatever existing membership list exists, get it into a form
Civi can cope with (i.e. CSV with consistent columns), import it then
sync so all members have WordPress accounts to log in with (this is a
semi-automatic process).

The sign-up page is at:

https://crm.osmfoundation.org/join-the-osmf/

and you'll have to ignore any security warnings for now. Use fake credit
card details from
http://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/vhelp/paypalmanager_help/credit_card_numbers.htm
to pay via PayPal.

Shout if you have any problems.
