[OSMF-membership] Membership sign up through SOTM US

Frederik - this is roughly what I was thinking, yes.
Another option would be to just hand out coupon codes that entitle
recipients to a reduced membership fee. This would be purely promotional
and we would share such coupon codes with everybody who signs up for the
conference. Would that be interesting?
Upsides:
- you don't need to worry about this coupon code being shared in the wild -
it's just a time limited promotion
- you still drive sign ups
- less friction - there is one decision point less: attendees don't need to
decide whether they want to sign up for osmf at the point of signing up for
conference, they get a coupon code either way at their free disposal
I am still prepping a couple of options to discuss with my board
colleagues.
