Matija,

    I mostly agree with you, but I think that as a community, the Wiki 
is an important backbone of our collaboration. If you say

then this means that we would have to have some other form of 
communication within the community to tell each other which "cases" 
we're working on (so that nobody gets contacted from more than one side 
at the same time!). I think it is good to define a process and execute 
it out in the open, and if this includes a publicly readable list that 
says that OSMer X has contacted map user Y about the web site Z, then 
this is not too bad - it just has to have proper wording, it must not 
come across as a "hall of shame" but as an internal tool that helps us 
monitor what we (as a group) are doing.
