[Osmf-talk] SotM2011: What's next?

I know that the SotM organizers will still be recovering.  I don't
think it is reasonable to ask them to do anything other than recover
right now.  Also, Ivan Sanchez Ortega has his new fame as a singer to
deal with, plus the paparazzi and the groupies.  So Ivan may have his
hands full for a bit.

In Girona I heard several people asking about SotM 2011, and not just
asking when and where, but also asking about how to submit a bid to
host.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't start that process by prepping
some wiki pages for the SotM2011 bids?  Perhaps one brave soul on the
board will form a nascent Sotm2011-WG and give this a touch of
orthodoxy?  Is it outrageous to open a call for bids with the
understanding that by the time the call for bids closes, a proper
SotM2011-WG will be in place, rather than just an energetic mapper?
