hello,
in the begining of february there will be big opensource conference
fosdem in Brussels. (probably weekend 2-3 february 2013)
https://fosdem.org/2013/
it is a big conference with 26 parallel sessions last year. those
included firefox, postgresql, libreoffice, ...
https://archive.fosdem.org/2012/schedule/tracks.html
the agreement is that each group gets a room for day/two and manages all
the speakers. i've talked to the organizers and they happy to accept new
topics (though not really eager since the number of topics is rising).
2 people are minimum for one room (chair and input-output manager at the
door) plus all the speakers.
do we want to have an openstreetmap track?
if yes, which is the target group? (beginners, hackers; halfday each)
who would be willing to organize the pre conference things? (speakers,
marketing, ...; the last conference i've tried to organize failed horribly,
so i am not a volunteer; plus i am not from brussels)
looking forward to positive reactions
michal
