[Osmf-talk] Open Letter to OGC about ESRI REST geoservices

Hi all,


I got word about an ongoing discussion about the OGC pushing for adoption of 
ESRI's REST API as an OGC standard:

The OSGeo folks are drafting an open letter over here:

I humbly request the OSMF board to chip in. After all, OSM API is the oldest 
geo-enabled REST API I know about, and that has to have some weight. Heck: I, 
for one, would like the OSM API to be an OGC standard!
