By the way, mapping a supermarket well is not a trivial task.

Usually there is an ATMs in a supermarket. One should indicate its
operator and description.

There could be also a pharmacy in a supermarket with different telephone
number (contact:phone) to check availability of a certain medicament,
with different opening hours.

The opening hours of a supermarket itself is a complicated story. It may
have opening hours in summer different from winter ones. Let alone
opening hours before Christmas.

But it all could be shown in one tag for the whole year, with all
exceptions. The system is described here:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:opening_hours

There may be bicycle parking near supermarket, a cafe with or without
Internet access, and so on and so forth.

The best way to map supermarket is to survey it, while making photos
with a smart-phone camera of opening hours signs, Internet access
announcements, ATMs, etc., and taking business cards of pharmacy, cafe,
book shop, etc.

I knew people who were making serious money by growing and selling small
cactus plants, or another one - by tiny colored fish for aquariums.

Perhaps some smart person could figure out how to make money with OSM
edits too.

Wikipedia forbids it outright. At the same time seeing banners asking
for money just to continue Wikepedia's operations does not seem right
either, while companies are knocking on its doors in essence offering money.

Maybe they could listen, talk and find an acceptable compromise.
